This museum is located in the village of Bellanaleck, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh. The proprietor Rosemary Cathcart was inspired by the fact that the area had a long history of lace-making. There is a stunning collection of laces on permanent display, Fine examples of flowering and filet lace, Inishmacsaint needlelace, Mountmellick Embroidery, Carrickmacross Lace, Irish Crochet Lace, Youghal Needlelace and Limerick Lace can be viewed. Rosemary was very helpful and informative and interested in the Headford Lace Project. I enjoyed my visit. I look forward to going there again.
